Three new weekly flights from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen airports to Dalaman in Turkey have been unveiled.The new cheap flights to the coastal destination will commence next summer with carrier Flyglobespan operating the services between April and October.Rick Green, the airline’s chief executive, expects the new routes to be popular among holidaymakers.He said: “Turkey, with its rich culture, great beach resorts and reputation as a value for money destination is bound to be a winner.”Our customers told us this is what they wanted, so we are delighted to be able to deliver it.”The announcement comes after Aberdeen Airport started work on a new £10 million construction project that will include arrival hall, passport control and baggage reclaim refurbishments.Officials at the airport commissioned the project in a bid to attract international routes to the north-east and will no doubt be as pleased as passengers with the new Dalaman service.
