Today, Live Nation is trying something different, and it’s unreal. Live Nation just announced “The Festival Passport,” which gives its holders GA access to dozens of Live Nation festivals slated to go down in 2017. The Festival Passport will give its holders access to almost all the Live Nation festivals across fifteen different countries, which represent all sorts of different music genres from EDM to country. Remarkably, The Festival Passport only costs $799 (!!!) and will give access to even sold-out festivals. Some of the festivals it offers access to include Austin City Limits Music Festival, Bonnaroo, Creamfields, EDC (Las Vegas and Orlando), Falls Festival, Governors Ball, Isle of Wight, Lollapalooza (Chicago, Paris, and Berlin), V Festival and many more. Other festivals on the Festival Passport list that caught our eye are Peach Music Festival, Camp Bisco, Sasquatch, Voodoo, and Forecastle, but realistically, so many others.Camp Bisco: A Predictor And Measure Of Success For Some Of Our Favorite PerformersLive Nation will be offering only 1,000 Festival Passports to the public, so we’re guessing it’s going to be one of the hardest tickets of the summer. The Festival Passports go on-sale on Monday, May 22nd, at 10 a.m. PT here. Admirably, to combat scalpers, passports are non-transferable and only issued via the original buyer’s name, so make sure you’re ready to take the plunge when you try to purchase (this also means only one purchase per person). If you’re one of the lucky thousand who gets one of these epic deals, all you need to do is show up at the will call of the festival of your choosing with your ID and the Festival Passport. There, you’ll receive your wristband, and you can go and enjoy the show. However, it’s important to note that camping and parking is not included with the Festival Passport unless the General Admission for the festival includes camping and parking (Live Nation notes that if you’re one of the lucky passport holders, you can hit up the company two weeks before an event for assistance to reserve a camping or parking spot). You can see the list of festivals below. NFL owners approve diversity measure and potential play-off expansion | NFL News

first_imgNFL owners also unanimously agreed to allow two more teams into an already expanded play-off field in the event the 2020 regular-season schedule is not completed in 18 weeks, NFL Network reported. The contingency plan has the potential to put 16 teams into a jam-packed race to the Super Bowl.In a March vote among owners, the playoff field was expanded to 14 teams for this season, meaning that 43.8 per cent of the teams would make it to the postseason. Now, a 16-team playoff – allowing half the teams to make it in the field – would happen if the COVID-19 pandemic further wreaks havoc on the schedule.- Advertisement – – Advertisement – NFL owners have approved a proposal which incentivises the development of minority coaches and executives. The proposal, which is subject to approval from the NFL Players Association, will reward a team with a third-round compensatory Draft pick in back to back Drafts if another team hires a member of their staff to a higher role. The coach or executive has to have been with their previous team for a minimum of two years for the compensation to apply.- Advertisement – The NFL is pushing to increase opportunities for minorities in coaching and executive positions While the NFL normally has each team complete a 16-game schedule in 17 weeks, an 18th week will be added as a buffer for any games that were postponed amid the pandemic. If any games with playoff implications still remain after 18 weeks, the 16-team play-off plan would go into effect. An original plan for a 16-team playoff would have seeded the teams by their record in the conference from best to worst. But a change Tuesday will make the division winners the top four seeds while categorizing the remainder of the field as wild cards. That decision has a major impact on the NFC East, whose winner would get a top-four seed in the 16-team playoff plan, even though they could finish under .500. At issue was a scenario where eight NFC teams had a better record than the NFC East winner.center_img NFL owners also unanimously agreed to allow two more teams into an already expanded play-off field in the event the 2020 regular-season schedule is not completed in 18 weeks; The contingency plan has the potential to put 16 teams into a jam-packed race to the Super Bowl.
